This remote position requires a professional who is not only certified in diverse therapeutic modalities, such as structural family therapy, strategic therapy, systems therapy, narrative therapy, or transgenerational therapy, but is also experienced in addressing divorce and relationship counseling. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while still actively contributing to our vibrant team. You will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ensuring you have consistent hours to focus on your clients. Our remote work setting is supported by the latest telehealth technology, allowing for seamless communication and interaction with clients from the comfort of your home office.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess mood disorder symptoms, including intensity, frequency, and duration, starting the therapeutic journey with a clear understanding of their needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals, preferences, and unique circumstances, employing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices, thereby empowering them to take charge of their mental health.

• Monitor and document client progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure the best outcomes and progress towards goals.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other health specialists, to provide integrated care that addresses clients’ holistic needs.

• Stay informed about research in the field of mood disorders to continuously enhance treatment strategies and methodologies.

• Maintain meticulous records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality and data integrity.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals dealing with relational conflicts, mood disorders, and the emotional challenges that come with divorce and family changes. Your expertise in therapy will provide essential support to clients navigating these complex issues, helping them build resilience and healthier relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is mandatory.
