Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments and evaluations to understand clients' needs and develop personalized therapy plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, adapting as necessary for individual client preferences.

• Facilitate group sessions, couple therapy, and family therapy, creating a safe space for all participants to express themselves and work through challenges collaboratively.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation of client interactions, adhering to ethical and legal standards to ensure confidentiality and compliance.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health care.

• Collaborate with other professionals within the organization to provide holistic care, including consulting with psychiatrists, social workers, and other therapists.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals and families facing a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Many of our clients may have limited access to traditional mental health care services, providing you a unique opportunity to impact their lives positively. You will be tasked with building strong therapeutic relationships that are foundational to client healing and progress.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted LPC licensure in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical setting, is necessary.

• In-depth knowledge of legal and ethical standards in therapy practice.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.

• Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other digital tools that support therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload management. Employees are also entitled to a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, along with malpractice insurance coverage. You will receive consistent client referrals, reducing the effort required to build your caseload. Additionally, our billing and documentation assistance will allow you to focus more on client care and less on administrative tasks.
