Key Responsibilities\n

As a mental health counselor, your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments that gather important information about the client’s history and current emotional state.

• Developing personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs and mental health challenges.

• Providing both individual and live group therapy sessions, focusing on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders.

• Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide well-rounded care and ensure that each client receives holistic support.

• Engaging in regular supervision and case consultations to refine treatment strategies and improve therapeutic outcomes.

• Staying informed on the latest therapeutic practices through ongoing education and professional development.

• Assessing therapeutic progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes for clients.

• Contributing to the continuous enhancement of clinical services and patient care protocols within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, including adolescents, adults, and families facing varying levels of emotional distress. You will support individuals navigating complex challenges such as trauma, family dynamics, anxiety disorders, and depression. Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• An active license or certification in California (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT) allowing you to practice in your respective specialty.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience providing therapy to clients dealing with emotional or psychological difficulties.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients quickly and effectively.

• Experience with electronic medical records systems is preferred, but not a mandatory requirement.

Preferred Experience\n

While not essential, prior experience with telehealth services and familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities can enhance your effectiveness in this role as you cater to the distinct needs of clients remotely.

Compensation and Benefits\n
