Work Environment\n

This full-time position allows for a flexible remote work setting while being aligned with our community health clinic's mission. You will work collaboratively under the supervision of our Wellness Program Director and the guidance of the Children & Family Services Director, connecting virtually with both clients and team members. Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured schedule that enhances work-life balance while ensuring dedicated time for client engagement.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to meet the needs of each client.

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that are culturally appropriate and goal-oriented.

• Document all clinical interactions and maintain accurate client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in crisis intervention as needed, offering immediate support to clients in distress.

• Collaborate with other professionals in the community on mental health initiatives and outreach programs to promote mental wellness.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health phenomena to foster understanding and prevention.

• Maintain confidentiality in all client interactions and uphold professional standards as dictated by our licensing board.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed mental health counselor at Good Life Psychotherapy, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, families, and adults facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your cultural competence will be crucial in ensuring effective communication and fostering trust with clients from various backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check as part of the hiring process is mandatory.
