Job DescriptionAs a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Risk Awareness in Redwood City, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 06:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential property concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and provide directions or assistance to authorized occupants and guests.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and/or maintenance concerns accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
