As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $26.95 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate facilities, including building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and potential hazards in accordance with site procedures.
- Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and promptly.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
