Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to evaluate their physical condition, limitations, and needs, utilizing a variety of diagnostic tests.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that focus on relieving pain, facilitating recovery, and restoring muscle function, ensuring alignment with patients' goals and physician directives.
• Oversee the implementation of physical therapy programs, guiding physical therapy assistants in delivering effective patient care consistent with the plan of care.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, traction, and other physical agent treatments while providing instructions and motivation to clients to enhance their engagement in their recovery.
• Evaluate home environments for rehabilitation potential and recommend modifications that promote independence for clients.
• Document patient progress meticulously in clinical records, including evaluations, updates to care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries for coordinated patient care.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, lending expertise and insights that shape comprehensive treatment strategies for patients.
• Supervise and instruct Physical Therapy Assistants as necessary, ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies.
• Conduct timely assessments and adjustments of care plans to reflect patients' evolving needs and responses to therapy.
• Engage with patients and their families, providing guidance on therapy devices and facilitating discussions about ongoing care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, contingent on experience and qualifications.
