This role allows you to work primarily from home while maintaining regular communication with colleagues and clients through telehealth platforms. While the majority of your sessions will be conducted remotely, you will occasionally engage in team meetings at our outpatient office in Elgin, providing opportunities for collaboration and support among peers. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients' mental health status.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

• Provide regular counseling sessions, employing diverse therapeutic methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that promote peer support and shared experiences.

• Act as a liaison with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records in our electronic health record (EHR) system, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds and cultures, requiring sensitivity and adaptability in therapeutic practices. You will play a vital role in helping clients develop coping strategies and skills to improve their emotional well-being and foster resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
