Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our Rehabilitation Center, providing a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including healthcare professionals from various fields, to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services tailored to meet each client's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients by evaluating their physical capabilities and establishing an individualized plan of care aimed at restoring function and enhancing quality of life.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and hands-on interventions such as manual therapy, traction, and physical agents under the directives of a physician.
• Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring that the treatment protocols are adhered to and that patient progress is effectively monitored.
• Conduct evaluations to assess the effectiveness of treatment interventions and provide recommendations for any necessary modifications.
• Facilitate patient education by instructing clients and their families on rehabilitation-related topics, including the appropriate usage and care of therapeutic devices.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and updates in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Participate as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team in treatment planning conferences and case reviews to collaboratively enhance patient care strategies.
• Develop strong relationships with patients to boost their engagement and motivation throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Be proactive in identifying potential barriers to patient progress and addressing these with appropriate interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronic illnesses. Our patients range from young adults to seniors, all requiring specialized care to address their unique rehabilitation challenges. Your expertise will help empower them to regain independence, enhance mobility, and improve their overall health status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state PT licensure in good standing.
• Certification in CPR.
• Demonstrated ability to make informed clinical decisions and a commitment to clinical excellence.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and team members.
• Proficiency in evaluating a variety of physical conditions and tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• A collaborative mindset with a focus on improving patient care and outcomes.
• Ability to maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with regulations.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in acute care or home care settings.
• Familiarity with the latest therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation technologies.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary health team to provide cohesive care.
• Knowledge of community resources to further support patient needs.
• Skilled in using electronic medical record systems for documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
