Your Role – What You Will Achieve

• Carry out routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests—such as chemistry, hematology, immunology, and others—following established procedures.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, resolve errors, and conduct preventative maintenance and calibrate laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing when required.
• Meticulously document all procedures, provide training for new staff or students, and help maintain quality assurance standards within the lab.
• Ensure a tidy, safe workspace while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Educational Background

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Qualifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
