HVAC Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of a growing service department. This position is responsible for leading technicians, managing service requests from intake through completion and invoicing, and ensuring HVAC systems are maintained, repaired, and installed safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership skills with a hands‑on technical background in commercial or industrial HVAC systems. You'll play a key role in driving operational performance, supporting technicians in the field, improving preventive maintenance programs, and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Manage incoming service requests from initial intake through scheduling, completion, and final invoicing. Lead, mentor, and support a team of HVAC service technicians to ensure high-quality workmanship and timely response to customer needs. Develop, coordinate, and oversee preventive maintenance programs using Service Fusion to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Provide technical support for troubleshooting and repair of HVAC equipment, including electrical controls, PLCs, low‑voltage, and high‑voltage systems. Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings to assist with diagnostics and repairs. Oversee HVAC equipment replacements, upgrades, and installation projects while ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to company standards. Maintain accurate service documentation, maintenance records, inspections, and work orders through CMMS software. Ensure compliance with company safety policies, electrical safety practices, and applicable industry regulations. Partner with facilities and operations teams to improve equipment performance, energy efficiency, and overall system reliability. Qualifications Previous experience managing HVAC service technicians or maintenance teams within commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of HVAC equipment, mechanical systems, and advanced troubleshooting techniques. Hands‑on experience working with low‑voltage and high‑voltage electrical systems; PLC knowledge is highly preferred. Experience utilizing CMMS or service management software for scheduling, maintenance tracking, and work order management. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation, including knowledge of industrial electrical principles and Ohm's Law. Proven organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple service activities in a fast‑paced environment. Strong communication and leadership abilities with experience coaching, mentoring, and developing technicians. Professional English communication skills, both written and verbal. Why Join Us?
