You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Experience leading teams or staff in the development and coordination of policies in the immigration and/or law enforcement domains; Applying complex analytic and evaluative methods and techniques to direct, conduct and complete independently and/or with other staff members special analyses and studies that support immigration and/or law enforcement policymaking throughout the Agency; Advising internal and external stakeholders as a technical authority to address and resolve controversial matters influencing policy development or modification; Analyzing, developing, and reviewing technical and sensitive immigration/law enforcement policy-related information affecting the Agency or other agencies; AND Evaluating new and proposed immigration/law enforcement policy initiatives; make recommendations for use by senior-level officials in decision-making.
