Senior Administrative Assistant, Cell Therapy Enterprise
$32.67 - $49 per hourAstraZeneca
Senior Administrative Assistant supporting the Chief Operating Officer of AstraZeneca's Cell Therapy Enterprise in Santa Monica. Manages calendars, travel, contracts, procurement, and event logistics for a fast-moving organization developing cell therapies for cancer and immune-mediated conditions.
Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume multi-national calendars and coordinate meetings, teleconferences, and special events with discretion
- Arrange domestic and international travel, process expense reports, and manage conference registrations
- Support vendor/supplier contract management and procurement processes including purchase orders
- Coordinate interview logistics, candidate scheduling, and onboarding/offboarding activities
- Plan and execute team events, off-sites, and town halls; prepare agendas, presentations, and meeting minutes
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of administrative experience
- High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Zoom, Teams
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in complex global organizations
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or collaboratively
- Professional interpersonal skills and understanding of global workplace cultures
- Demonstrated proactive problem-solving and flexible, solution-oriented mindset
Compensation: $32.67–$49.00 per hour
