Job Overview:The Project Coordinator 2 supports project managers and teams in planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines and budgets.Job Responsibilities:*** Assist Project Managers in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.* Track project progress, identify potential issues, and facilitate resolution with project teams.* Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and follow up on action items.* Manage and organize project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports.* Process purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports related to project activities.* Communicate project updates and status to stakeholders, both internal and external.* Support the onboarding of new project team members and assist with training coordination.* Utilize project management software and tools to maintain accurate project data.* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for project management processes.* Perform other administrative and support duties as assigned to ensure project success.Job Qualifications:*** High School Diploma or equivalent required.* 2-3 years of experience in a project coordination or administrative support role, preferably within the construction, engineering, or utility industry.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).* Experience with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Asana) is a plus.* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.* Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.* Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.Company Overview:Primoris is a leading communications contractor with years of knowledge, skills, and experience in multiple areas of expertise, including outside plant construction in both fiber and copper environments as well as fiber splicing and maintenance.
