Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients’ specific mental health issues and developing effective, individualized treatment plans to address these concerns.

• Providing one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other relevant approaches tailored to the needs of each client.

• Establishing and collaboratively setting therapeutic goals with clients, and monitoring their progress through consistent feedback and assessment throughout the treatment process.

• Offering teletherapy sessions for clients who prefer virtual interactions or face accessibility challenges, ensuring equitable access to mental health support.

• Maintaining accurate documentation to meet ethical standards and regulatory requirements, which upholds the integrity of our practice.

• Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of the latest practices and innovations in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves clients dealing with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A Master’s degree or doctorate in fields related to Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.

• Empathic understanding, a compassionate nature, and a non-judgmental attitude toward diverse client experiences.

• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage a varying caseload while fulfilling administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience working in a community health setting, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and proficiency with telehealth platforms are considered advantageous.
