Your Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, order pertinent diagnostic tests, and develop personalized care plans.
• Work collaboratively or independently to diagnose and treat acute, chronic, or episodic illnesses (depending on your credentials).
• Empower patients and families with education on disease management, wellness, and prevention.
• Within your practice scope, prescribe medications and therapies.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
• Completion of a nationally accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Massachusetts.
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain these within 90 days).
