Bookkeeper

Bookkeeper PositionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable bookkeeper to join our team. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions while also supporting basic human resources activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in the hospitality industry, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.This position requires a pre-employment background and drug testKey ResponsibilitiesAccountingManage accounts payable (AP), including vendor invoices, payment processing, and reconciliations.Assist with accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliation.Reconcile bank and credit card statements.Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.Work closely with management to monitor budgets and control expenses.Human Resources SupportAssist with employee onboarding and new hire paperwork.Maintain employee personnel files and HR records.Support payroll preparation by verifying employee hours and documentation.Help administer employee benefits and respond to general HR inquiries.Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, hotel, or restaurant operations.Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable.Experience with accounting software (Sage, or similar ERP systems).Familiarity with payroll and HR processes is preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.Must pass a pre-employment background and drug testWhat we offerCompetitive salary based on experience.Health benefits and paid time off.Supportive and collaborative work environment.If you are an organized accounting professional who enjoys working in hospitality and contributing to both financial operations and employee support, we'd love to hear from you.
