The position offers a clear path toward future leadership and partnership for the right individual.The firm is committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive workplace where employees are encouraged to develop professionally while delivering exceptional service to clients.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the preparation and review of tax engagements by coordinating staffing, scheduling, and workflow.Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and other entities.Manage client budgets, engagement timelines, and production goals.Build and strengthen client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor.Develop an understanding of clients' businesses to provide proactive tax planning and consulting.Improve departmental processes by identifying efficiencies and implementing best practices.Maintain quality control procedures throughout the tax engagement process.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting required.Active CPA license required.5+ years of recent public accounting experience with a primary focus on taxation.Strong experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returns.Experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel functions.Experience with tax preparation and accounting software is preferred.Spartan Placements is an equal opportunity employer.
