Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health challenges, personal strengths, and available resources to devise a personalized treatment approach.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities—including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care—to provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that clearly outline client goals and the strategies for achieving them.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, teachers, and other school personnel to coordinate care and holistically address students' mental health needs.

• Provide crisis intervention, including risk assessments and safety planning, as required to support students in emergency situations.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation to adhere to ethical standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Organize and facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes to enhance awareness and skills related to mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your main focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents, providing adaptive support for varying challenges including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will work to empower students and their families to navigate the complexities of mental health, promoting resilience and positive coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• At least two years of experience working in a mental health or outpatient care setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
