The Opportunity

The Solutions Engineering team is the customer‑facing product expert group that drives Grafana Labs growth. We educate potential and existing customers, deliver demos, enablement, and technical evaluations, and partner closely with the Sales team to qualify and close opportunities. As a bridge between engineering, sales, and customers, we influence product management through customer feedback.

What You'll Be Doing

• Partner with Sales to articulate Grafana’s value proposition to customers.
• Own technical engagements and help close complex opportunities with advanced competitive knowledge.
• Deliver product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams about product feedback and competitive landscape.
• Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems.
• Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, and create knowledge base articles.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 5+ years of technical pre‑sales experience.
• Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership skills on complex assignments.
• First‑class written and oral communication skills, and ability to articulate value proposition.
• Passion for solving technical challenges and delivering creative solutions.
• Technical mindset with a desire to grow technically.
• Must be located in Germany.

Bonus Points For

• Experience with open‑source technologies, especially in metrics/monitoring.
• Experience with sales methodologies like MEDDPICC.

Compensation & Rewards

In Germany, the OTE (On‑Target Earnings) range for this role is EUR 124,000 – EUR 147,800. Compensation includes Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) for ownership in Grafana Labs.
