Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and timely mental health assessments to accurately identify patients' needs and establish personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques and frameworks, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective individual, couple, and family therapy.

• Facilitate support and psychoeducational groups that address prevalent mental health concerns, fostering community and connection among participants.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, helping to de-escalate situations and develop safety plans.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, discuss treatment options, and connect them with relevant community resources.

• Ensure meticulous and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in alignment with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic methods.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and create effective individualized treatment plans.

• Experience providing therapy for individuals and groups from varied backgrounds.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, alongside sound professional judgement.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience, particularly in an outpatient or community setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
