Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children, focusing on their developmental milestones in a supportive and engaging environment.

• Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), ensuring alignment with both child and family goals.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, monitoring individual outcomes and making necessary adjustments to interventions based on real-time feedback and observations.

• Develop trusting relationships with children and their families, utilizing evidence-based practices and adaptive strategies to enhance the child’s learning and growth.

• Provide education and support to families regarding strategies that promote child development, ensuring that the guidance respects parents’ preferences and cultural values.

• Utilize the coaching model while implementing teaching strategies within the child’s natural learning environment.

• Maintain compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding social work practices and EI services.

• Regularly document progress and interactions, adhering to operational standards to ensure accountability and quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with infants and toddlers who have developmental delays or disabilities. Your role is critical in providing early interventions that enhance physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills—foundational for the child’s future success. The children and families you support will vary greatly in background, and your understanding of diverse family dynamics will be beneficial in tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Department of Public Health.

Compensation and Benefits\n
