Work Environment

Our facility is an onsite rehabilitation center situated in Orlando, where the warm climate and vibrant community provide a supportive backdrop for patient recovery and employee satisfaction. As a Clinical Physical Therapist, you will have the advantage of choosing your working hours from Monday to Friday, allowing for flexible scheduling that can cater to both your needs and those of our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed consultations with patients to assess their physical condition and understand their symptoms and concerns.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and design personalized treatment plans to address individual needs.
• Implement therapeutic exercise techniques, educating patients on their proper usage to optimize recovery.
• Administer appropriate physical therapy techniques including stimulation or massage to encourage healing.
• Provide assistance to patients with rehabilitation equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility aids, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records, tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Offer guidance to patients and their families regarding in-home treatment options and preventive exercises.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including children, adults, and seniors facing various physical challenges. This position entails engaging with individuals suffering from sports injuries, postoperative recovery, chronic pain, and progressive conditions. Your compassionate and personalized approach will be crucial in facilitating their rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid physical therapy license to practice in the state of Florida is essential.
• Demonstrated competency in written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with patients and their families.
• Experience with electronic health records and essential computer skills, including word processing.
• Must be flexible, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, we are open to highly motivated new graduates eager to learn and develop their skills through our Mentorship for New Graduates program. Compensation and Benefits
