Key Responsibilities Conduct virtual psychosocial assessments to identify client strengths and areas for improvement, utilizing telehealth platforms. Design and implement evidence-based therapy interventions for individuals, families, and groups, focusing on cognitive-behavioral techniques and motivational interviewing. Coordinate with medical staff to develop holistic treatment plans that address both mental and physical health needs. Advocate for clients' access to essential resources, ensuring they receive the necessary support services available within the community. Maintain detailed documentation of all client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in our electronic health record system. Participate actively in clinical team meetings, case conferences, and trainings to promote continuous learning and improvement in therapeutic practices. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily support individuals in a detoxification program. These clients may face a variety of mental health challenges, including substance use disorders, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting sensitive assessments and delivering compassionate therapy that respects their unique circumstances and cultural backgrounds. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, with a current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California. A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in clinical social work is required, ideally within a behavioral health or detox setting. Demonstrated proficiency in diagnostic assessments and crafting treatment plans grounded in evidence-based methodologies. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective rapport-building with a diverse client population. Dedication to cultural competency, social justice principles, and adherence to ethical standards in clinical practices. Preferred Experience Experience working in a detoxification or substance use treatment facility. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and case management. Certification in evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Compensation and Benefits Competitive annual salary ranging between $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
