Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' presenting issues, background histories, and treatment goals.

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy through evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques.

• Craft personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing specific educational and mental health needs of students, and perform regular evaluations to monitor progress.

• Collaborate closely with school personnel and stakeholders to facilitate a cohesive support system for students, including teachers, counselors, and parents.

• Maintain a strong commitment to ethical guidelines and confidentiality in all treatment practices while adhering to relevant legal requirements.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending training and workshops, to remain current with best practices in mental health care.

• Foster therapeutic relationships with students and their families, promoting trust and encouraging open communication to facilitate healing.

• Provide relevant resources, coping strategies, and practical support to help students overcome obstacles in their academic and personal lives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role centers on school-aged children and adolescents who are navigating various psychological barriers. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
