Deal Desk Operations & Strategy Lead

About the Role Decagon is looking for a Deal Lead to sit at the intersection of Sales, Finance, and Strategy. You'll be the first dedicated pricing hire and will work closely with the Business Operations team to shape the function from the ground up. On our Pricing team, your primary goal will be to accelerate and scale our enterprise go-to-market motion - working closely with our account executives to structure and propose deals. Initiatives will include building internal deal processes, proposal structuring, commercial negotiations with customers, and sales enablement. This is an exciting role blending strategic thinking and high-caliber execution. We are looking for highly-motivated problem solve In this role, you will Own deal structuring for enterprise opportunities, partnering directly with account executives to build proposals and drive deals to close Work to develop and refine Decagon's pricing and packaging strategy Build and scale internal deal desk processes as the company expands Collect and analyze pricing and deal data to shape company strategy Partner cross-functionally with Finance and Legal to align on deal economics and contract terms Your background looks something like this 6-10+ years of experience in pricing / deal desk / monetization functions at high-growth companies Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where you shape solutions as much as you implement them Strong cross-functional collaborator - you've worked regularly with finance, sales and legal teams Strong communicator - both verbal and written Even better if you have Experience building or scaling a deal desk or pricing function at a high-growth or early-stage company Previously led implementation of a CPQ platform Familiarity with consumption-based or usage-based pricing models in addition to traditional SaaS subscription structures SQL or other data analytics experience Benefits We proudly offer the following benefits for our full-time employees: Take what you need vacation policy (subject to local requirements; UK employees receive 25 days of statutory leave) Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits for you and your family Life Insurance and Disability Benefits Retirement Plan (e.g., 401K, pension) Parental Leave Fertility and family building benefits through Carrot Daily lunches and snacks in the office to keep you at your best _These benefits are described in more detail in Decagon’s policies, may vary by location, and can change at any time according to applicable compensation and benefits plans._ #J-18808-Ljbffr Decagon
