Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments that thoroughly evaluate the emotional, social, and educational needs of students.

• Provide tailored individual and group counseling sessions aimed at helping students navigate challenges related to adjustment, grief, and coping.

• Work collaboratively with teachers and school personnel to develop and implement effective intervention strategies to support students’ mental health.

• Coordinate with community organizations and service providers to facilitate access to post-discharge resources, ensuring seamless continuity of care.

• Offer emotional support and education to students and their families regarding available treatment options and community resources.
\n
• Participate in school-wide committees aimed at enhancing student mental health services and developing comprehensive support programs.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with the policy and legal standards.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support when necessary, ensuring a safe and responsive environment for students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on working with children and adolescents within the school system, addressing a variety of emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. You will become a key resource for students grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other issues impacting their educational performance and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Possession of an active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) state license.

• Strong foundational knowledge of social work best practices, particularly in school-based settings.

• Proficiency in conducting psychosocial assessments and developing appropriate intervention strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits\n
