Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine the needs of senior clients and craft personalized strategies for their mental health and emotional well-being.

• Provide individual counseling and psychotherapy sessions to adults, focusing on a range of emotional and psychological challenges.

• Research and refer clients to appropriate resources and support services, ensuring they receive the comprehensive care they need.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, using electronic health record systems to document sessions and track client progress.

• Participate in professional development and training opportunities to stay current with best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on elderly clients who require specialized care. Many will be navigating complex emotional and psychological challenges associated with aging, chronic illness, and end-of-life issues. You will play a critical role in providing them with the support they need to maintain their dignity and well-being throughout the aging process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
\n
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, to document interactions and manage case notes.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong time-management skills and self-discipline.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with geriatric populations is preferred, though not mandatory.

• A familiarity with hospice care principles and practices will be an asset in addressing the unique needs of our clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
