Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and emotional well-being, tailoring interventions based on individual needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for clients, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, which may include individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing urgent mental health issues, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring a high level of professionalism.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, keeping abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health treatment.
• Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and competencies.
• Uphold ethical guidelines and professional standards set by relevant licensing bodies and organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve at Adorable Healing Behavioral Health range from children to adults, facing diverse mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. You will be instrumental in delivering the support they need to navigate their challenges and work towards recovery. Your expertise in diverse therapeutic modalities will enhance their treatment experience, fostering growth and improvement in their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW).
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills to effectively evaluate and treat clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, demonstrating empathy, respect, and understanding.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of direct experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably in an outpatient setting.
