The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering personalized nursing care by employing the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating patient care and conducting assessments
• Providing patient education and triage services
• Implementing various nursing interventions
• Collaborating with inter-professional teams, including physicians, to plan and evaluate care

The RN is expected to demonstrate proficiency and operate within the full scope of nursing knowledge, adhering to age and population-specific standards relevant to their clinical environment. Compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules of the state of practice is essential. Our nursing practice framework is grounded in the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as established by the American Nurses Association.

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program is preferred, including institutions recognized by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
• A Bachelor's Degree in nursing is preferred.
• Must possess an unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing in the state where practice occurs, or hold multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Required to obtain and maintain department-specific licensure, competencies, and certifications.
