Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Pediatrics - Anesthesiology in Dayton, OH

Doctor of Medicine | Pediatrics - Anesthesiology Location: Dayton, OH Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities In this role, you will perform a variety of anesthesia services for a patient demographic ranging from neonatal to adult. Responsibilities include providing pediatric anesthesia services to all subspecialties, with the exception of cardiac and transplant surgery. You will work within a care team model, alternating between practicing solo and supervising CRNAs. Clinical duties involve managing general surgical cases (neonatal, pediatric, and adult), thoracic cases (excluding open heart), complex orthopedic procedures, and neurosurgical cases. You will also be responsible for ventilation management, arterial line insertion, and the evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues. Qualifications & Credentialing The following criteria must be met and documented at the time of submission to ensure a timely credentialing process: Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in Pediatric Anesthesiology. Education: Successful completion of a Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship is required. Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Licensure: An active Ohio medical license is highly preferred. Documentation: A Self-Query NPDB pulled within 30 days of submission and the provider's maiden name (if applicable) must be provided. Experience: Proficiency in neonatal and pediatric general surgery, thoracic, complex orthopedic, and neurosurgical cases is required. Compliance: Candidates must meet established rate requirements and be prepared to complete fingerprinting immediately upon acceptance.
