Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse in this long-term care setting is responsible for providing skilled nursing care, resident assessments, medication administration, wound care, and monitoring resident conditions. The role requires effective communication with physicians, families, and care teams, leadership on the floor, and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure exceptional healthcare delivery. Responsibilities:

• Communicate timely with physicians, families, and care team regarding significant changes in resident condition.
• Complete all applicable resident assessments accurately and thoroughly.
• Administer medications following the 5 Rights principle.
• Perform wound care and assessments as needed.
• Assist CNAs with responding to call lights and resident needs.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and act accordingly.
• Provide leadership on the floor by assessing and directing situations as needed.
• Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to appropriate leadership.
• Maintain accurate and thorough resident records and documentation.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Two-year degree in nursing required; four-year degree preferred.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Minimum of 1 year related nursing experience preferred.

• Four-year degree in nursing (Bachelor's degree) preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or nursing home environment advantageous.

• Must comply with reporting protocols for abuse, neglect, or misappropriation.
• Leadership responsibilities on the floor require strong communication and decision-making skills.

• Full-time day shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
• Work schedule includes every other weekend.
