Registered Nurse Emergency Room

The ER Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care in a fast-paced emergency room setting serving all ages and populations. The role involves patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality emergency care. The nurse must have at least 2 years of experience and hold a current Registered Nurse license in Hawaii. Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments in the emergency room.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide skilled nursing care for patients of all ages and conditions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide critical care support.

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Hawaii.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in emergency or acute care settings.
• Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience working in emergency room or critical care environments.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or TNCC.

• Must be able to work in a 15-bed emergency department plus a 6-bed fast track area.
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations across all ages.

• Shifts include days, evenings, and nights; schedule may vary.
