Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, offering an excellent work-life balance for mental health professionals. Our team operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis. This setting promotes collaboration with colleagues while ensuring that you can effectively support your patients from your home office.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with patients to craft tailored treatment plans that align with their specific mental health goals and preferences, utilizing a person-centered approach.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to treat mood disorders.

• Provide educational resources and support for clients and their families, helping them understand mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

• Monitor and document patient progress throughout treatment, showcasing your ability to adapt and revise treatment plans as needed.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and holistic care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient’s well-being are addressed.

• Stay updated on the latest research and treatment modalities related to mood disorders to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Our diverse client base reflects a wide range of cultural backgrounds, socio-economic statuses, and age groups, allowing for a rich, multifaceted interaction that can enhance your clinical skills.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess a current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker - R Privilege (LCSW-R), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychoanalyst, or Psychologist in the state of New York.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds are essential for successful therapeutic relationships.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focusing on mood disorders is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
