Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and maintain a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients to facilitate open communication and effective treatment outcomes.

• Diagnose and assess various mental health disorders based on thorough evaluations, utilizing DSM-5 criteria to inform treatment planning.

• Create comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that incorporate client needs, goals, and circumstances.
\n
• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities tailored to each client.

• Regularly meet with clients to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments, and provide necessary support and interventions.

• Refer clients to additional specialists or community resources when needed, ensuring a holistic approach to their health and wellness.

• Document all sessions and interactions comprehensively to maintain accurate patient records and facilitate continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on supporting a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families dealing with various mental health challenges. Our clientele may include those experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health concerns. As a therapist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding these clients toward healthier lifestyles and improved mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is mandatory.

• Active, unrestricted state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• Demonstrated ability to provide individual and/or group therapy effectively, based on training and experience.

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to manage caseload and administrative responsibilities efficiently.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in a community health setting or clinic environment.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms.

• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
