Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of patients and their families to identify emotional, social, and environmental factors impacting their care and overall well-being.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including crisis intervention, individual, group, and family therapy.

• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care, incorporating family dynamics into treatment strategies.

• Facilitate effective discharge planning by coordinating with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and community resources to ensure a smooth transition for patients after hospitalization.

• Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding adaptation to illness and psychosocial stressors, empowering them to navigate their health challenges.

• Engage in clinical evaluations of oncology patients, addressing issues of depression and anxiety while providing short-term therapeutic support.

• Be available for on-call rotations to respond to after-hours needs and facilitate urgent cases as necessary.

• Deliver presentations on psychosocial oncology practices to stakeholders and staff, positioning yourself as a subject matter expert in community and professional settings.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
