Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments to understand clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans, incorporating a variety of therapeutic modalities.

• Provide effective counseling and psychotherapy through weekly or biweekly sessions, focusing on evidence-based treatment approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Psychodynamic Therapy.

• Utilize remote communication tools to engage with clients, ensuring accessible mental health support through video consultations or in-person visits as needed.

• Regularly monitor, evaluate, and adjust treatment plans based on clients' progress using data-driven approaches and feedback mechanisms.

• Manage crisis situations promptly and effectively, providing necessary interventions and support to ensure clients' safety and well-being.

• Collaborate with a network of referral sources and case management teams to coordinate care and support clients in achieving their mental health goals.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation while minimizing paperwork to ensure efficient record-keeping and compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Sunshine Sanctuary, you will work with a diverse patient population facing various mental health challenges. Your expertise will support individuals dealing with mood disorders (including Major Depressive Disorder), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma-related issues, and grief. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline is essential.
