Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews with clients, documenting their background, presenting issues, and treatment history to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral well-being through evidence-based assessments to accurately diagnose mental health conditions.

• Design individualized intervention and recovery plans targeting the specific needs of individuals, families, and groups, ensuring a customized pathway towards wellness.

• Facilitate engaging and productive individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques grounded in best practices to foster meaningful change.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress against established treatment goals, adjusting plans as necessary based on therapeutic outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Provide follow-up assistance for clients referred for additional services, ensuring they receive the full spectrum of care required to support their recovery.

• Educate and support family members and other primary caregivers, equipping them with strategies to understand and manage mental health challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and behavioral disorders. A keenness to help individuals navigate their mental health journeys, build resilience, and foster fulfilling relationships is essential.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW within the state of Washington.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong knowledge of electronic health records systems such as AVATAR to manage client documentation efficiently.

• Solid understanding of practice guidelines from the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably in outpatient settings.

• Familiarity with the treatment of addiction disorders and co-occurring disorders.

• Understanding of psychotropic medications prescribed by healthcare providers and their impact on mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Regain Strength Psychotherapy Services offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
