Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the month-end and year-end close processes, supervising a team of accountants while reviewing, approving, and posting journal entries.
- Prepare journal entries and perform general ledger account reconciliations as needed to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee the review of all balance sheet account reconciliations prepared by staff accountants, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items.
- Conduct monthly financial variance analyses, providing detailed explanations and insights for review with the Controller and Vice President of Finance.
- Independently investigate and resolve accounting variances, reconciliation discrepancies, and other financial reporting issues.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, gathering supporting documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries, including payer and regulatory audits related to billing activities.
- Analyze fleet program performance and provide actionable financial insights to support operational decision-making.
- Deliver financial analysis related to productivity, payer mix, service line profitability, margins, and branch performance to support both operational and strategic initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation to enhance efficiency and scalability across the accounting and finance function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system implementations, acquisitions, integrations, and other corporate initiatives.
- Serve as a key financial partner to operational leadership by leveraging KPIs and business metrics to provide actionable recommendations that drive performance and informed decision-making. xhyhwjd
