Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Drop of Life Counseling Services, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Conducting initial assessments and developing personalized therapy plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Providing marriage and family counseling that addresses issues such as communication breakdowns, conflicts, substance abuse, and the challenges of blended families.

• Facilitating therapy sessions that include both joint and individual meetings to promote open dialogue and understanding among family members.

• Tracking client progress and making adjustments to therapeutic strategies as required.
\n
• Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation of sessions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborating with other members of the clinical staff to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.

• Staying informed on best practices and advancements in the field of marriage and family therapy through continuous professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting couples and families grappling with various challenges, including but not limited to:

• Addressing physical and psychological abuse within family dynamics.
\n
• Helping clients cope with grief and loss.
\n
• Facilitating communication among family members and resolving sibling conflicts.

• Supporting blended families and issues arising from remarriage.

• Addressing job stress and medical issues impacting family life.

• Helping clients overcome issues of cut-offs and disconnection among family members.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
