Step into a rewarding contract role where your expertise as a School Speech Language Pathologist will make a tangible difference for students in grades 6–8. This assignment provides an excellent opportunity to work on-site with a dedicated school community and support a caseload of 60–65 students within one middle school for the full academic year. The position will begin as soon as possible and continue through late May, offering you the chance to foster both professional growth and positive student outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Florida State Speech Language Pathologist License
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related discipline
• Previous school-based SLP experience and familiarity with middle school populations strongly preferred
• Ability to complete district credentialing, including background check and fingerprinting, promptly

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy services for students in grades 6–8
• Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Conduct assessments, evaluate progress, and document student performance
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff, teachers, and families to drive student success
• Participate in meetings, provide input for IEP teams, and communicate progress updates as required
