Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms of mood disorders, determining the severity, frequency, and impact on their daily life.

• Collaborate with clients to establish individualized treatment plans, aligning therapy goals with their personal preferences, values, and motivations.

• Implement evidence-based therapy approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address client needs.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, promoting understanding and self-care strategies to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Monitor client progress rigorously, utilizing feedback to adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Proven expertise in the application of evidence-based treatments for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

Compensation and Benefits\n
