Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety, evaluating the severity and impact of their symptoms.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans based on a client's unique needs, preferences, and goals, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Guide clients and their families in understanding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices, ensuring they are informed and engaged in their therapeutic process.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to improve outcomes, and documenting all interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care, advocating for clients' overall mental health needs.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development workshops to share knowledge, collaborate on treatment strategies, and stay abreast of the latest research in mood disorder treatment.

• Champion mental health awareness by advocating for the needs of clients, especially those from underserved populations such as refugees, individuals experiencing homelessness, and survivors of domestic violence.
