Key Responsibilities\n

Your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will encompass a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing client outcomes:

• Maintain accurate documentation of clinical sessions, ensuring timely and thorough progress notes in accordance with department policies.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to create and evaluate comprehensive treatment plans, including detailed discharge strategies based on psychosocial assessments.

• Engage in open communication with clients' family members or support systems to facilitate effective treatment and discharge planning, ensuring a support network is in place for clients.

• Develop individualized treatment strategies tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each patient, optimizing their path to recovery.

• Conduct regular counseling sessions with clients, monitoring their progress, adjusting treatment plans when necessary, and providing ongoing support throughout their therapeutic journey.

• Execute continual assessments of patient progress to evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and adjust strategies as necessary.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) and licensure to practice within the state.

• Strong proficiency in computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records, word processing software, email communication, and spreadsheet applications.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and possess a proactive, self-directed approach to managing tasks.

• Demonstrated ability to adapt and effectively utilize MS Office and other therapeutic tools in a remote work environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience with specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and mindfulness techniques are highly beneficial. Additionally, familiarity with case management practices and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques will be advantageous.
