Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate and understand the psychological well-being of patients, helping to inform and tailor treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving a diverse clientele in the Takoma Park area, which includes children, adolescents, and adults experiencing various mental health challenges. You will work directly with individuals affected by anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological disorders. Tailoring your therapeutic techniques to match the unique demographics and cultural backgrounds of our patients is essential, as is fostering trusting relationships that encourage open dialogue and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT in the state of Maryland.

• A strong foundation in mental health disorders, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based treatments to deliver effective therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
