Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs. This includes gathering pertinent information through interviews and diagnostic tools.

• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual client goals and therapeutic needs. For instance, you may employ cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, or mindfulness-based interventions.

• Engage in individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to express themselves and explore coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and cohesive care. Regularly partake in case review meetings to discuss client progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary.

• Provide crisis intervention support, responding promptly to clients in acute distress, offering immediate assessments, safety planning, and coordination of emergency resources when needed.

• Participate in community outreach and educational initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and destigmatizing mental health issues, leveraging your expertise to empower individuals in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will comprise individuals from various backgrounds, often facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. By working with such a varied population, you will enhance your cultural competence and deepen your understanding of the social determinants affecting mental health.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for establishing rapport with clients and building therapeutic relationships.

• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity to effectively engage with clients from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
