ABOUT THE ROLE

Trava Health is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to recruit exceptional people across the organization. This is a highly hands-on recruiting role. We are looking for someone who can personally source, recruit, interview, negotiate with, and close exceptional candidates—not simply manage job postings or wait for applicants. You will manage full-cycle recruiting across technical, healthcare, operational, corporate, leadership, and specialized positions. You will proactively identify passive candidates, conduct direct outreach, screen and assess candidates, coordinate interviews, support compensation benchmarking, negotiate offers, and maintain strong candidate pipelines. The ideal candidate is an exceptional recruiter and headhunter who is resourceful, persuasive, highly organized, and comfortable independently managing multiple searches in a fast-moving environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage full-cycle recruiting from hiring-manager intake through accepted offer and onboarding handoff. Proactively source and recruit high-quality passive candidates across technical, healthcare, operational, corporate, leadership, and specialized roles. Develop creative sourcing strategies for competitive and difficult-to-fill positions. Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs. Use LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, professional networks, referrals, direct outreach, ATS platforms, and other sourcing channels to identify strong candidates. Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, candidate profiles, competencies, and interview criteria. Research compensation benchmarks, candidate availability, hiring trends, and talent-market conditions. Screen and evaluate candidates for relevant expertise, performance history, problem-solving ability, and position fit. Conduct structured interviews and develop effective screening practices to accurately assess candidate capabilities, including in an environment where AI increasingly influences the hiring process. Coordinate interviews and maintain clear communication between candidates and hiring teams throughout the process. Negotiate compensation and offers while balancing candidate expectations, market conditions, internal equity, and company objectives. Build strong candidate relationships and effectively communicate Trava Health's mission, culture, opportunities, and growth trajectory. Independently manage multiple open positions while maintaining urgency, organization, and momentum. Maintain accurate recruiting records and candidate information within the ATS. Track recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, offer acceptance, source effectiveness, candidate experience, and retention.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting, talent acquisition, executive recruiting, or headhunting. Strong track record of independently managing searches from intake through accepted offer. Significant experience proactively sourcing and recruiting passive candidates rather than relying primarily on inbound applicants. Experience recruiting professional, technical, specialized, leadership, or difficult-to-fill positions. Strong ability to identify and engage high-performing candidates who are not actively searching for new opportunities. Experience partnering directly with hiring managers throughout the recruiting process. Knowledge of compensation benchmarking and talent-market trends. Strong candidate assessment, interviewing, negotiation, and closing abilities. Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, Boolean search, sourcing tools, and modern recruiting technology. Familiarity with AI tools and their impact on recruiting, interviewing, and candidate assessment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized, resourceful, proactive, persistent, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced organization.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Experience recruiting in a high-growth startup, scale-up, healthcare, telehealth, technology, or similarly fast-paced organization. Experience recruiting across multiple functions and seniority levels simultaneously. Experience conducting executive or highly specialized searches. Experience recruiting technical talent. Experience sourcing candidates for positions with limited or highly competitive talent pools.
