Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Medical-Surgical Telemetry – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Evening/Night 12-hour shifts, 1900 - 0730. Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need. Two weekends per six-week schedule period (additional weekends available upon request).

• Diverse patient population including adults and geriatrics with varied medical-surgical and telemetry conditions

• Floating may be required based on operational needs

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or multistate compact RN license
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
• Minimum two years of acute care experience within the last three years in medical-surgical or telemetry specialty
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Must successfully pass telemetry competency examination prior to start date with strict passing criteria (80% overall, 100% on lethal rhythms identification)
• Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Essential Skills:

• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Blood product administration and IV management
• Central line and PICC line management
• Experience with wound care, oxygen administration, and feeding tube management
• Proficiency with PCA pumps, insulin protocols, and Heparin administration
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and use of Rapid Response/Code teams
