The Disability Insurance Branch is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and data-driven analyst to support the organization's Knowledge Management Systems Unit. In this role, the analyst serves as a key partner in bringing together people, policies, and processes by supporting the creation and delivery of essential procedures and knowledge resources. The successful candidate will collaborate across teams to ensure employees at all levels have access to accurate and reliable information. The analyst will evaluate business needs, identify opportunities to improve knowledge management processes, coordinate updates to procedures, and help advance effective communication and information sharing across the branch. 

This position is part of the Disability Insurance Command Center Division. The Disability Insurance Branch of the Employment Development Department ensures eligible Californians receive paid wage replacement benefits when they are unable to work due to a non-work-related illness, injury, or pregnancy. The Command Center Division oversees workload performance, collects real-time data analytics, and provides best-in-class training and quality management oversight for the Branch. 

This position is eligible for hybrid telework, which may be subject to change. The selected candidate will be required to reside in California and report to the nearest Disability Insurance Branch office on designated in-office days. 

Position located at: 1416 9th Street, Sacramento, CA, 95814.

Effective July 1, 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for hours in the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) per month.
