Key Responsibilities\n

• Build and maintain effective, trusting relationships with clients to foster a safe therapeutic environment.

• Conduct thorough assessments and intake sessions to accurately diagnose mental health conditions.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans to address the specific needs of each client, including individuals and families.
\n
• Facilitate individual, couple, and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address various issues.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Provide referrals to external specialists when additional support or services are required.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in our electronic health record system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a diverse client population, including adolescents and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Your work will contribute significantly to improving the mental health and overall quality of life for families and individuals seeking our services.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active LMFT license in the state of California.
\n
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

• Strong foundational knowledge of individual and family systems and therapeutic methodologies.
\n
• Abilitiy to create an individualized approach based on client needs and circumstances.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and treating co-occurring disorders.

• Proficiency in evidence-based practices for substance abuse and mental health conditions.
\n
• Previous experience working within a clinical outpatient setting is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated ability to motivate and empower clients in their journey to wellness.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with both patients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n
